This past summer I discovered there was such a thing as a bee house. Here’s my take on a matching bird/bee combo utilizing one of my favorite materials, plywood.
The bird house perch is a bent piece of coat hanger that I nickel plated, which is pretty easy to do with the help of some scrap nickel and a suitable wall wart power supply.
Luckily, there’s plenty of bamboo in my neighborhood, though it took way longer than I expected to cut all of the segments to length for the bee house.
